**About the role**:
This newly created Business Director role will build and communicate the vision, strategy, timely commercialization and ramp-up of new business opportunities for PFS Acute segment, leading its financial performance (for revenues and gross profit) worldwide, with full responsibility for portfolio planning and product development, as well as cross-functional matrix leadership of R&D, marketing, operations, quality and sales.
Reporting to the VP/GM, and working as a member of the management team of the PFS Acute therapeutic segment, the Business Director leads all aspects of the general management of the Acute segment, working closely with regional managers and their marketing teams to ensure the development and implementation of a coherent strategy.
Partnering with the regional organization, this position will create valuable solution offerings for this segment portfolio and strives to build positive relationships with customers, strategic partners and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
**Main responsibilities will include**:
- Lead the annual planning process to define and communicate global business strategy.
- Generate and leverage insights on market and customer trends to drive ambitious adoption of existing and new portfolio offerings.
- Develop annual and multi-generational product roadmaps, strategic plan and launch planning in collaboration and consultation with R&D, Marketing and Operations management team.
- Work with various functions and provide guidance to achieve KPIs and business objectives, i.e, quality, policy implementation, customer satisfaction, financial performance etc.
- Collaborate with global Sales & Operations (S&OP) team to reconcile capacity planning and mitigate capacity issues
- Work with regional marketing groups on launch planning, sales tools, public policy, advertising and trade shows; and identify new product innovations, optimize product portfolio, launch new products and line extensions, and manage product life cycles, forecasting, pricing, etc..

**About you**:
We seek a Servant Leader with an established foundation of leadership credibility based on integrity and a track record of success in delivering large and/or multiple projects and influencing business results.
Ideally you will bring experience in the pharmaceuticals, device industry and ideally exposure to the acute and cosmetics drug delivery space.
Also you will have:
- Relevant progressive management experience in the medical technology, pharmaceutical (parenterals) and biotechnology sectors related to injactables.
- Proven track record of sales excellence and leadership.
- Strong intuition for business and knowledge of the medical device market environment.
- Validated ability to design, develop and implement business strategies, convert them into tactical marketing plans and deliver results.
