**Duties**:
The incumbent provides a wide variety of technical services to include the making badges, automated access control hardware and software. In addition, incumbent assists the RSO office by processing and managing the access control database ensuring incoming and TDY personnel are properly cleared for access to U.S. Government facilities.

Systems administration and daily operation of the Global Identification (GLID) and badging system as well as the automated Software House card reader access control and verification systems. This includes creation and tracking of Embassy identification and access badges according to the access level permitted for their position.

Ensures all access requests for U.S. missions in France are properly approved and coordinated through the MyServices system. Works with various sections and agencies to confirm security clearances, and assigns the correct level of badge for all incoming visitors and new staff. Manages visitor access for large scale events and visits.

**Qualifications and Evaluations**:

- Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: One year of general work experience is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Good working knowledge of basic computer skills and office procedures is required. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE (THIS WILL BE TESTED): English - Speaking/Reading/Writing - Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) is required.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
