As an Automation and Digital specialist, you will be responsible of ensuring Manufacturing Execution Systems-Automation standardization and innovation across Waters category. You going to provide support and guidance for digital tools deployment and automation solutions in both routine operations and CAPEX projects. You will enforce that all MES-E&A activities enhance product quality and operation performance leveraging TMP methodology, while ensuring people health & safety and environment are never compromised. **A day in the life of an Automation and Digital specialist** **Excel in Industrialization**: - Provide operational support to factories/markets in respect of process, performance, competitive quality and understand the technical details of the MES-A solutions in all projects. - Industrialize technologies through equipment’s in factories / markets in cooperation with TCU engineers /SMEs and follow up on possible issues. - Ensure strict compliance with NPTC and corporate SHE & food safety policies as well as legal SHE & food safety codes. Drives for safety by design of the process. **Define and adhere to standards**: - Scout and study new digital solutions for Manufacturing processes, with emphasis on operator centricity. - Develop and deploy digital standards for the category in alignment with the Group directives. - Support TCU SMEs in establishing the priority digital and automation solutions. - Develop and propose technology/equipment renovation in alignment with market needs and state of the art. - Establish and drive Network with markets and factory experts to promote benchmark and drive common initiatives. **Product and Process Mastership**: - Feed in enhanced technology pipeline, training modules and digital solutions catalogue. - Participate in engineering expertise network within the R&D. - Have deep insight of the processes, and continuously strive for the improvement of quality, safety or efficiency while protecting the technological know-how and competitive advantage. **Build capability**: - Ensures that competency assessment and competency building plans are in place, routinely reviewed and executed for the MES-E&A teams. - Organize training / courses for NPTC, Zones/markets and factories - Provide Technical Assistance to enhance expertise and competences. **What will make you successful** - A person of integrity: you are convinced that you can do your job in a responsible way.
