Pharmaceutical Customer Process Technical Leader

In this role you will be part of the Global R&D team.

We’re looking for a Technical Leader on Pharmaceutical/ drug delivery systems who will provide skills and expertise for Product or Technology on customer production and manufacturing processes.

You will lead activities and run sciences topics to ensure appropriate product/technology adaptability and fit with customer needs (sophisticated customer requirement and problem) during the new product development (before launch).

You will also provide support to customers related to our products on all customer process activities (before launch) and ensure expertise transfer to customer facing team support product on the market. You will represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects and, as an expert, you will represent BD in international conferences to cross-fertilize expertise

**Main Responsibilities**

**Build, develop, maintain and disseminate product/science expertise about customer processes**
- Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and processes, translating them into specifications to ensure relevant and innovative product/technology solutions. Delivering and owning requirements & specifications, issue recommendations for new future products/technologies
- Be an advisor for the R&D organization
- Proactively identifying and mitigating technical risks. Driving complex technical problem solving
- Actively promoting product / scientific learning with your peers and coworkers. Ensuring technical lessons are reviewed, learned, disseminated and capitalized.
- Developing creative and innovative solutions and seeking at protecting BD intellectual property

**Network**
- Build positive relationships with machine makers to get a good understanding on future technologies and anticipate customer needs
- Build and Lead an expert / KOL (Key opinion leader) network to build a pool of different expertise which can be used if necessary and enabling Comprehensive Mapping of the customer manufacturing line (technical / market trends)
- Extending support and network development with other BD’s business units when required
- Participating to technical forums and research for technological insights

**Who are you?**

Ideally coming from a background in a technical field (Pharmacy /Pharmaceutical Technology, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Process Engineering), advanced degree (Bac+5), you have a proven experience working in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry or from a machine maker with a demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and related process equipment.

You are comfortable to work in an international and cross-functional environment and have a confirmed ability to build technical and efficient teamwork
