ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
In order to navigate Coty’s Content transformation, new creative and production resources are being set up to deliver digital assets in higher volume. These Content Hubs will be dedicated inparticular to producing and delivering additional ecom, eretail and social assets in parallel of 360° campaign assets produced by other creative partners brands are used to working with. Inorder to be close to local consumer insights, several hubs will be set up in different geographic locations, the first one being China, an important market for the group. A partner agency has been selected to provide creative and production resources for the group.
The Global CDO Content Team is looking for a China Content Expert. Reporting to the Creative Production Director, this role is in charge of liaising between the Content Hub partner agency, the Coty China team and Coty operational teams in order to set up, launch and run the Content Hubs in China in a seamless manner.
THE ROLE
**The China Content Expert is in charge of**:
Helping define who the right points of contact are on the China team, CDO team, Procurement team, operations, facilities management, in order to set up interviews for the discovery phase and align on needs to go-live
Once all elements have been aligned on, coordinate the implementation of set up phases in collaboration with the China team (physical structures, teams, workflows etc)
Coordinate first briefs between China, brands and CDO teams in coordination with the CDO Traffic & Production Team
Provide insight, guidelines and operational help on all China-related briefs and content as more brands start working with the Content Hubs
Follow trends and define essential assets by performing audits and benchmarks
Organize and monitor the production of digital content in collaboration with local Content Hubs
Align with China and brands on priorities according to launch schedule and coordinate with CDO Traffic & Production Team
Monitor projects and ensure their smooth running
Update content or create new ones
Coordinate the different teams if necessary
Respect deadlines, budgets and objectives set.
Follow the indicators to assess and improve the quality of the content produced
Provide competitive intelligence, analyze market developments and consumer behavior related specifically to the China region
The role of the China Content Expert requires a real knowledge of the Chinese market and its trends.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Deep knowledge and understanding of Chinese e-commerce & social landscapes
Knowledge of 360° initiatives including digital, social (incl. platforms such as Instagram and TikTok), influence, advocacy, E-commerce/E-retail and physical retail, dedicated to the China Market
Rigorous, autonomous, organized, strong spirit of analysis and synthesis
Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of urgency to prioritize and orchestrate tasks
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill sets, comfortable with different levels of management
Proven track record of delivering strong results by working both independently and in collaboration with global teams as appropriate
Business acumen and keen interest for the beauty and luxury industries
You thrive in a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced work environment.
Fluent in Chinese
Fluent in English, which is the working language
