Chalet Management Couple in France

One of our private clients based in the outskirts of Megeve, are looking for an experienced Chalet Management Couple to take care of their family Chalet.
The principals of the Chalet are an international, informal family with 4 teenage adult children.
During the summer and winter high season months the chalet is in use by the family with occasional visits outside of these periods - additionally the chalet is sometimes rented for a few weeks.
The ideal couple will be able to work autonomously to run this busy chalet successfully, have excellent organisation & communication skills, team players (as extra staff are employed when there are a high number of visiting guests), attention to detail, hands on attitude, friendly, approachable, good budget management, both must be drivers, speak a good level of English & one must speak French, one must also be a good family style cook.
**Duties will include**:
- 5* Housekeeping/Laundry
- Healthy family cooking
- Informal table service
- House management
- Driving
- General interior and exterior maintenance
- Snow clearing
- Light gardening tasks
- General pool care (a local contractor is employed for overall maintenance)
- Driving and care of several cars/off-road motorbikes
- Liaising with local contractors, suppliers, and local accountants
- Liaising with the UK Family Office
- General administration
- Dealing with cash and credit card payments
- Booking ski guides, mountain bike tours, hiking guides, restaurants, and other activities
- Making changes to the chalet from owners visit to rental weeks e.g.: removal and storage of family clothing/footwear/toiletries/ artwork etc
**Accommodation**: A separate apartment will be rented locally for the chalet couple plus during busy times when the couple may need to work late there is sleeping accommodation available for them to use at the chalet + car will be provided.
**Salary**:€5.5k net per month (possibly negotiable)
**Start date**: Summer ‘23
**Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay**
