Surface Treatment and Maintenance Technician

**Purpose of the role**

The technician will execute the different technical operations on the pilot machine depending on the program established by the Manager. He will actively contribute to run the machine and execute the needed operations to maintain the equipment (preventive and curative maintenance) He will ensure task execution in compliance with quality and safety rules and best practices.

**Main responsibility areas**
- Support in driving pilot lines dedicated to surface treatment, execute tasks at different step of the process on the coating machines.
- Support preparation, adjustment and implementation of formulations and process parameters according to the defined trial program.
- Support to Develop, schedule, and follow up on preventive & preventive maintenance programs.
- Support efforts of maintenance to troubleshoot problems
- Execute basic measurements to define machine settings.
- Report on trial conditions and results to the Technical Managers (charts, curves, reports)
- Execute work in a rigorous way (availability, respect of the planning, management of the raw materials, maintenance of the material)
- Contribute to machine cleaning, sampling, logistic of the trials
- Work in compliance with safety and confidentiality rules
- Work with rules and standards for production tools

**Competencies required in the role**

Education: professional degree in electromechanics, bachelor’s degree (paper, mechanical, etc),

Work experience on paper/nonwoven converting lines
