**Role overview**:
The Client Services Director is responsible for the leadership and development of the client services team overseeing multiple clients and projects ensuring best in class delivery whilst making best use of all internal resources.
**Responsibilities**
**Client services management**
- Oversee management/delegation of tactical and administrative processes across multiple accounts/teams
- Use strength of client relationship to secure additional client business and assess client satisfaction from a macro level
- Take the lead on strategic, creative & digital planning with designated key accounts within group; oversee team on executions
- Be an expert across a portfolio of client businesses
**Product/task leadership & accountability**
- Motivate, lead, and manage internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programmes that meet our clients' business objectives
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members
- Play an active role in initiating and fostering wider agency cross-discipline opportunities, whilst maintaining new business growth for advertising/med comms
**Business management**
- Show leadership by being able to respond rapidly and decisively across multiple challenges with both existing clients and with new client pitch opportunities
- Develop and foster account relationships working towards 100% account retention within a defined portfolio of accounts and report to Senior mgmt. on any issues
- Develop, manage, and monitor client P&L's for assigned accounts
- Develop a complete understanding of each client's goals, markets, needs and expectations
- Independently lead performance and strategy presentations with input from broader team
**Team orientation/collaboration**
- Be the example for professionalism & Syneos work ethic on the account team
- Serve as the day-to-day champion of the brand, internally & externally
- Create an environment that fosters idea sharing to achieve strategic goals
- Take ownership in developing mid-level staff and teaching them how to be future leaders
- Manage direct reports effectively by providing constructive and actionable feedback
**Job Requirements**
- Knowledge and experience in healthcare environment
- Proven track record of developing strong client relationships delivering work of a high standard resulting in retaining clients over time.
- Confident and convincing presentation skills
- Growing business from existing clients as well as successfully helping to win new client pitches
- Sound understanding of strategy as it applies to brand positioning, creative ideation and omnichannel planning.
- Eye for detail in accurate project management
- Financial astute in the management of budgets
- Strong leadership skills in building a well-motivated team
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and administrative skills
