As we are expanding our team, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive **Human Resources Specialist** to join our team in France. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our HR operations by handling administrative processes, ensuring compliance with local labor law, and acting as the liaison between HR and our payroll provider.
**What you’ll do**:
- Oversee day-to-day HR administrative activities, including preparing employment contracts and letters, maintaining employee records, and managing onboarding and offboarding documentation.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with French labor laws and internal company policies, staying informed on any legal or regulatory updates.
- Act as the main point of contact for all payroll-related matters: collect, review, and validate monthly payroll inputs, and coordinate closely with our external payroll provider to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including probationary period reviews, contract modifications, and terminations.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate information in the HRIS and manage personnel files with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide timely and professional responses to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and terms of employment.
- Partner with HR colleagues and cross-functional teams to support broader HR initiatives and ensure alignment across departments.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and provide operational support as needed.
**This role is perfect for you if you have**:
- Proven experience in an HR administrative or specialist role in France.
- Solid understanding of French labour law and HR practices.
- Experience working with payroll processes and liaising with payroll providers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- Fluency in French and good command of English.
