We are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced individual to join our team as Third Party Management Manager, HSBC Continental Europe.

The role holder will join the Third Party Management team and report directly to Head of Third Party Management, HBCE.

The Third Party Management (TPM) team delivers services to all businesses and functions, and is an onshore capability located in HBCE’s key regions and countries.

**In this role, you will**:

- Play a key role to ensure compliance with the group’s third party risk policy and all applicable regulatory standards (EBA, ACPR, BdF)
- Ensure appropriate governance, oversight and reporting of all services provided by third parties to HBCE (incl. subsidiaries, affiliates, branches)
- Establish and expand strong working relationship with relevant stakeholders within GB/GF/DBS including risk stewards for third party risk and VMO teams within Global Service Center
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across HBCE (incl. affiliates / branches) to translate regulatory and global requirements for implementation
- Provide Head of Third Party Management inputs into DBS governance papers i.e. TPOC, RMM
- Provide MI and analytics from a risk, supplier management, outsourcing perspective
- Managing the direct contractual relationships between HBCE and HSBC group and address inconsistencies to relevant GB/GF/DBS
- Support regulatory internal and external audits including resolution of recommendations

The base location for this role is negotiable.

Requirements

**To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of HSBC and ways of working
- Strong Third party management experience ideally within the regulatory space in France/European Union
- Ability to lead, manage and implement change programs of a multi-functional nature
- Ability to take complex information/challenges and simplify this for the required audiences/stakeholders
- Great sense of ownership and outcome mindset to ensure efficient and effective Third Party Management
- Fluent in French and English
- Self-driven approach, extensive experience in encouraging and maintaining best practice TPM approaches to improve and optimize work flow, seeing opportunities for synergy and integration and simplify complex processes
