**IT Coordinator**

**Role Purpose**

To support IT Manager in the efficient running of IT, telephony, and printing/photocopying services to enable British Council in France staff to have access to the IT technology they need to meet British Council in France objectives, and to enable key groups of customers and students to access appropriate information about the UK, the British Council in France and its services and products.

**Main accountabilities but not limited to the following**:
**Country IT Support - Computers, Chromebooks, Multifunction printers, mobile telephony, purchase of IT equipment & Accessories, Hardware Asset Materials & Asset Tracking.**- Support IT manager endorsing above duties,-
- Provide priority to front office requirements such as: supporting Teaching staff with the use of specific devices, Interactive White Boards & Learning softwares,** **ensuring successful running of Exams computer-based sessions on the client side or at the British Council in France premises.-
- Be the first point of contact for front office users and liaise with Line Manager in order to prioritize importance and urgency of the queries.**Time Management and Administrative tasks**- Provide support with procurement processes.-
- Ensure that schedule of tasks agreed with IT Manager is met within realistic deadlines agreed.-
- Refer to Line Manager to plan Business as Usual tasks and prioritize changes in case of crisis in order to maintain business continuity.-
- Support IT Manager in maintaining inventory (hardware & software).**Communications to Internal Customers**- Support IT Manager & follow guidance in providing clear and transparent information to staff on IT and processes. Provide light training to users according to needs. Ensure new members of staff have set up ready upon arrival.**Minimum requirements**:
- BAC ou BAC +2-
- Knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Teams, Microsoft Office 365**Further Information**Pay Band **- 4**Contract Type**: Indefinite**Department: Country IT Delivery**Locations: Paris, France**Language requirements**:Français C1 and English B1-B2**Role holder must have existing rights to live and work in the country the role is based.**A connected and trusted UK in a more connected and trusted world.
