The Sainte-Geneviève Plant (DRAKA FILECA) is the European leader in special cables dedicated primarily to the aeronautics, space, military and harsh environment industries.
Your mission will be the following;
Supervises the quality department and participates in its development:
- Defines the objectives of its collaborators in coherence with the general orientations of the company
- Ensures the evaluation / professional interviews and the development of the skills of its staff
- Monitors daily activities and manages any conflicts, face-to-face but also remotely (mainly for the team in Mexico)
Guarantees the implementation and monitoring of the quality management system:
- Assists the Aerospace Activity Director in defining the quality policy and objectives
- Assists the Technical Department in the drafting of procedures and the definition of product controls to be carried out
- Assists R&D project managers to establish quality documents (new products, new suppliers, change of material, etc.)
- Write the quality manual
- Writes or approves quality documents (process sheets, procedures, instructions, forms, etc.) to ensure consistency with quality standards and customer requirements
- Ensures the updating of quality documents and their adequacy in relation to changes in standards
Manages external and internal audits in order to maintain certifications:
- Perform or supervise internal audits (workshops, systems, processes)
- Manage customer and certification audits
Manages quality performance with indicators:
- Ensures the monitoring of the indicators defined for each process
- Plans, prepares and writes the report of the management review
- Ensures understanding of the quality approach
Ensures customer relations (internal and external) and external service providers:
- Is in contact with all the services of the company
- Is in direct contact with customers for all quality aspects: product quality, industrial changes, customer requirements, etc.
- Is in contact with suppliers to ensure and develop their level of service
Defines quality action plans and corrective actions:
- Coordinates and monitors action plans issued following customer complaints, supplier complaints, internal non-conformities, audits, FMECA, etc.
- Ensures the proper management of files in the event of quality alerts, incident/crisis management
- Facilitate quality and problem solving meetings
Defines the necessary investments for the quality service or related services
Respects and enforces the rules in force, particularly in the areas of health, safety and the environment, also encourages proposals for improvement from his team:
- Respects and enforces the rules in force (operation, wearing of individual equipment, storage and cleanliness of the workstation, respect for the equipment made available to staff, waste treatment -areas, dumpsters-, etc.)
- Processes improvement proposals
