Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Sales Account Manager with expertise in heavy industries in France.
At this role you will manage a portfolio of existing named accounts within a territory, increasing sales of company solutions and services and encouraging customer relationships. You may work independently or collaboratively within a team.
You will be based in our office in Paris and report to Sales Manager.
The responsibilities - You will do:
- Achieve and exceed the annual sales target through the maximization of business opportunities at the specified accounts
- Lead the efforts of Rockwell Automation resources to provide Rockwell Automation solutions, products and services to the customers
- Coordinate Global, Pan-European, and In-Country sales plans and activities as defined by Sales Management
- Handle objections and manage a pipeline of opportunities, negotiates profitable deals.
- Collaborate with all sales teams to increase market reach, assure sales coverage, and provide appropriated order fulfillment.
- Focus on opportunities that support Rockwell Automation's market strategy
- Overall account coordination
- Set and achieve challenging targets
- Be ready to respond to changing circumstances within the organization or markets
- Ensure the right level of business information exchanged with a team
- Acuire new business within our existing and new customers.
The essentials - You will have:
- Bachelor or master's degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent
- Prior 5+ years of sales experience in a technology-based organization
- Automation and Software background
- Fluent French & English languages
The preferred - You might also have:
- Previous experience in Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Energy
- Additional education in business administration
- Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities opportunities that maximize revenue and profitability
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects to foster an open environment
- Experience in MES, IIOT and Cyber security
