**THE ROLE**:
Under the supervision of the Project Cargo management, he/she will be commercially astute and be able to identify new business opportunities, coordinate and drive sales actions with our local offices.
It seeks to work closely with all parties across the CMA CGM Group organisation, to facilitate the smooth handling of oversized and heavy lift cargoes across the end-to-end process.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Reporting to the Project desk manager, and in close contacts with line management, you will plan and implement trade and pricing policy for our oversized cargo segment for the designated countries and trades.
- You will carry out technical studies on out of gauge cargos for the current trades and ports called.
- You will create and calculate quotations, negotiate and sell projects to customers and sales network.
- Daily communication with Lines/Trades in HO Marseille in order to relay market informations and strategic recommendations to optimize the trade (revenues/volumes/market shares/balance volume-weight per teu).
- Coordinate and drive sales actions through our project sales network, provide support to the agents' network with a view to help them promoting our service offerings and capabilities, by the way optimizing their performance and achieving their sales objectives.
- Monitor and analyze agents’ performances, carry out and issue analytical reports to your manager including remedial actions.
- Interaction with operation, cargo flow, logistics, local sales, booking desk and many others.
- Occasional travel required to the designated countries.
- Any other ad hoc projects as assigned.
**PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- You have a postgraduate degree (+ 5 years) in Business, Logistic or Transport.
- You have 2 years minimum experience. Knowledge in trade pricing, ship operations and stowage planning would be appreciated.
- Good knowledge of operational activities or project cargo experience would be an asset.
- You are fluent in English and you have good command of computer and Office tools (especially Excel).
- You have organisational skills, are autonomous and show initiative. Your interpersonal skills, sense of communication and negotiation skills will make you a valuable team-player and enable you to develop the performance of special projects on your area.
