YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As a Business Development Manager for Service Solutions in SIDEL Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Asset Performance Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth and innovation by developing tailored service offerings that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be at the forefront of creating Service Solutions such as Maintenance Agreements (MA), strategic Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Performance SLA (PSLA) and Performance Based Services that not only bundle our existing Maintenance and Performance Services portfolio but also incorporate performance commitments that enhance productivity and efficiency on our customers' production lines. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing market penetration and establishing SIDEL as a leader in service excellence. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with key stakeholders, and influence the direction of our service offerings in a dynamic and competitive landscape.

YOUR MISSION

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of strategic and operational tasks to fulfill the expectations of this position:

  • Prepare comprehensive market analysis reports to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Review existing service offerings and performance metrics to determine areas for improvement and potential bundling opportunities.
  • Plan and develop innovative Agreements that align with customer expectations and include performance commitments related to productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage/Lead the pre-contracting process of new maintenance and performance-based service solutions and any complex solutions, including the coordination with Maintenance Engineering & Data Management & Performance Based / TPM Services teams and the preparation of quotes and offers, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company objectives and Customer's expectations.
  • Support regional PM Proposal Mgr with the pre-contracting process of renewals and simple maintenance solutions
  • Detect and identify potential clients and market segments that can benefit from SIDEL's Maintenance and Performance Based Services, focusing on building long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with Services and Commercial front line colleagues to understand customer feedback and requirements, ensuring that the service offerings are tailored to meet their needs.
  • Coach and support the Commercial front line colleagues (with support from Product Manager) on the evolving portfolio of Service Solutions and implementation of its Strategy and SIDEL Vision.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of implemented Service Solutions, adjusting as necessary to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in negotiations with clients to secure contracts that are beneficial for both SIDEL and the customer, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding of performance commitments.
  • Report on sales performance and market penetration efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
YOUR PROFILE
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or business development is required.
  • Certifications in project management, sales, or services management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, or similar) would be beneficial.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or service management within the manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably in maintenance or performance services.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and negotiating service contracts, particularly Service Level Agreements.
  • Experience in market analysis, customer relationship management, and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and productivity improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry and SIDEL's product offerings would be a significant advantage.
