Sales Director

Under the responsibility of the Head of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Director is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy within French speaking and Southern European territories. As the primary ambassador for Wiztivi's video products and services, this person drives customer acquisition, fosters long-term growth, and shapes strategic action plans tailored to the market.

This role is primarily a hunter position where you show strong qualification capabilities on inbound leads from or marketing teams as well as a methodical approach to finding new prospects through acquisition, trade shows and your own network.

The position can be based either in our offices in Carquefou (near Nantes) or performed in full remote. Regular travel within France and abroad is expected to meet with customers and support business development.

Main Responsibility Areas

  • Lead all activities within the territory, ensuring strong customer engagement at every stage of the relationship.

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within assigned accounts and territories, promoting Wiztivi's solutions with confidence and clarity.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing.

  • Build, implement and monitor territory sales plans by analysing market trends and performance results.

  • Define annual sales targets and forecasts, and regularly assess progress against objectives.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics—supply and demand, competitive landscape, economic indicators—to optimise sales volume, product mix and pricing.

  • Detect new opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge, professional networks and internal collaboration.

  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams to deliver customer expectations and provide effective, high-value solutions.

  • Ensure accountability across the sales team for achieving territory objectives.

  • Drive consistent sales development to strengthen competitive positioning and ensure strong margin contributions.

  • Work closely with leadership to review performance, adapt strategy, and refine sales tactics when required.

  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and procurement teams.

  • Encourage operational excellence and accountability among sales professionals and support teams.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Degree-level education.

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and confidently to technical, business and executive audiences.

  • Strong presentation and demonstration capabilities. Speaking Spanish is a plus but not a must.

  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.

  • High level of comfort working with complex business solutions and sophisticated customer environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in the TV and OTT industry is a plus.

Responsable Commercial est chargé de définir et de mettre en œuvre la stratégie commerciale sur les territoires francophones et d'Europe du Sud. En tant qu'ambassadeur principal des produits et services vidéo de Wiztivi, il/elle pilote l'acquisition de nouveaux clients, favorise la croissance à long terme et élabore des plans d'action stratégiques adaptés au marché.

Ce poste est avant tout orienté prospection, avec une forte capacité à qualifier les leads entrants provenant de nos équipes marketing, ainsi qu'une approche méthodique pour identifier de nouveaux prospects via des actions d'acquisition, des salons professionnels et votre propre réseau.

Le poste peut être basé dans nos bureaux de Carquefou (près de Nantes) ou exercé en télétravail complet. Des déplacements réguliers en France et à l'étranger sont prévus pour rencontrer les clients et soutenir le développement commercial.

Principales responsabilités

  • Piloter toutes les activités sur le territoire, en assurant un fort engagement client à chaque étape de la relation.

  • Identifier et qualifier de nouvelles opportunités au sein des comptes et territoires attribués, en promouvant les solutions Wiztivi avec assurance et clarté.

  • Gérer l'intégralité du cycle de vente, de la découverte à la conclusion.

  • Construire, mettre en œuvre et suivre les plans de vente territoriaux en analysant les tendances du marché et les résultats de performance.

  • Définir les objectifs et prévisions annuels, et évaluer régulièrement les progrès réalisés.

  • Maintenir une compréhension approfondie des dynamiques du marché — offre et demande, paysage concurrentiel, indicateurs économiques — afin d'optimiser le volume des ventes, le mix produit et la tarification.

  • Détecter de nouvelles opportunités en s'appuyant sur la connaissance du secteur, les réseaux professionnels et la collaboration interne.

  • Établir des partenariats solides avec les équipes internes pour répondre aux attentes des clients et fournir des solutions efficaces et à forte valeur ajoutée.

  • Garantir la responsabilité des objectifs territoriaux au sein de l'équipe commerciale.

  • Stimuler le développement commercial pour renforcer le positionnement concurrentiel et assurer une contribution solide aux marges.

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la direction pour examiner les performances, adapter la stratégie et affiner les tactiques commerciales si nécessaire.

  • Mener les négociations contractuelles avec les clients et les équipes achats.

  • Promouvoir l'excellence opérationnelle et la responsabilisation des commerciaux et équipes support.

Compétences et qualifications clés

  • Formation supérieure (niveau Bac+3 minimum).

  • Excellentes compétences en communication en français et en anglais, avec la capacité d'expliquer des concepts complexes de manière claire et confiante à des interlocuteurs techniques, business et exécutifs.

  • Solides aptitudes en présentation et démonstration. La maîtrise de l'espagnol est un plus mais non indispensable.

  • Fortes compétences relationnelles et de facilitation, permettant une collaboration efficace avec des équipes variées.

  • Aisance dans la gestion de solutions business complexes et d'environnements clients sophistiqués.

  • Expérience d'au moins 5 ans dans le secteur TV et OTT
