Join us a Strategy and Business Development Manager  

 Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Strategy and Business Development Manager  to join the ELITE team. The position will be based in Paris. You will report to the Head of Funding Solutions.  

You will primarily be responsible for: ​ 

  • Strategic initiatives & Business Development:

    • Perform detailed industry and market analysis to identify trends, risks related to Private companies local ecosystem and Private market investments and opportunities

    • Develop concise and effective presentations and pitch materials for internal/external meetings supporting business strategy with a focus on the French market

    • Gather competitive intelligence on existing and emerging competitors, including financial performance, growth drivers, positioning and products

    • Work and coordinate with ELITE Senior Advisors, Membership Solutions managers and Sales and Relationship managers to track and update revenues, pipeline and priority targets

    • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with French industry partners, banks, advisors and investors to build a robust support network for ELITE companies operating in or entering the French market

  • Funding solutions:

    • Co-design, develop and launch funding solutions based on the small and medium private companies' needs

    • Collaborate with French ecosystem stakeholders (e.g. Investors, SMEs, Associations, Financial Institutions) to identify and co-develop new financial products that reflect the evolving needs of PMEs through user research, market discovery, and regulatory alignment

    • Lead Private capital initiatives/projects across EU - with a strong French anchor - to address diverse strategic challenges for ELITE business model transformation and product offering

    • Actively participate in corporate and commercial discussions and contribute to strategic / financial recommendations for ELITE companies and prospects

    • Analyze business plans and participating in due diligence sessions

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Leverage all ELITE departments to define, plan and execute cross-functional initiatives

    • Partner with Euronext Business / support functions Partner to cultivate cross-functional relationships delivering high priority strategic initiatives

Your profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Finance,  Product/Service Design or other fields relevant to the position

  • Experience: Proven experience (at least 4-5 years) preferably from a premier management consulting firm, an investment banking division (M&A, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research), or another internal Strategy group. A relevant experience in Capital markets/Pan-European banking/finance is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and work under pressure

    • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

    • Business case development

    • Opportunity management and negotiation

    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Native French speaker, proficiency in English, other languages as a plus

    • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

    • Solid client-facing skills with the ability to interact at all levels

    • Commercial acumen and strategic awareness
