We operate in the most image-driven sectors: Luxury, Automotive, Beauty, Fashion, Technology, and we already work with some of the world's most demanding brands, among which international Chinese brands: Chery, SAIC Motor (MG), Plaud, Songmont, etc.
As we accelerate our international expansion, Darbyon is seeking a Chinese Business Developer to build and strengthen relationships with China's most ambitious brands — and help them scale their image, influence, and business in Europe and Western markets.
Conditions
Location: Flexible (Europe or China)
Contract: Freelance or Full-time (CDI)
Compensation: Competitive fixed + high variable based on performance
Start date: ASAP
Leads: Several warm leads already identified — the BD will nurture, qualify, and convert them.
Mission
Your mission is simple and strategic:
Identify, engage, and onboard Chinese high-potential brands (Tech, Automotive, Luxury, Fashion, Beauty) that want to expand and succeed in Europe and Western markets — using the power of AI, creativity, and Darbyon's unique positioning.
You will be the driving force behind Darbyon's Chinese portfolio growth and a key figure in our international expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Acquisition
· Engage Chinese brands targeting Europe/Western markets, particularly in Tech, Automotive, Luxury & Lifestyle sectors.
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through outbound, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
· Leverage existing warm leads: nurture, qualify, and convert them into signed deals.
- Relationship Building & Account Strategy
· Establish trusted relationships with decision-makers (CMOs, CEOs, founders, e-commerce leaders, brand directors).
· Understand each brand's international ambitions, challenges, and cultural context to propose tailored solutions.
· Represent Darbyon in China-Europe interactions and ensure smooth cross-cultural communication.
- Sales Execution
· Deliver powerful pitches demonstrating Darbyon's AI-enhanced content, media, and social capabilities.
· Lead the full sales cycle: outreach → qualification → needs analysis → proposal → negotiation → closing.
· Work closely with Darbyon's partners to package offers aligned with our AI value model.
- Market Knowledge & Strategic Input
· Provide insights on Chinese market trends (especially related to branding, AI, automotive, and digital).
· Identify opportunities for Darbyon to become the go-to partner for Chinese brands entering France/Europe.
· Participate in strategic development of dedicated China-to-Europe offers.
Profile
· Bilingual Mandarin Chinese, English. French is also highly recommended
· Proven experience in business development or partnership management in China or China-focused environments.
· Strong network or understanding of Chinese tech, automotive, luxury, beauty, or consumer brands.
· Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English (French is a strong plus).
· Ability to work independently, remotely, with a founder mindset.
· Comfortable with fast-moving, AI-driven environments.
· Deep interest in branding, marketing, AI, or global expansion strategies.
