POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Manager works as part of the Retail Managers team, who will align all operational activities and retail initiatives within the Village so as to achieve set sales targets and ensure outstanding guest experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the Village achieves its set sales targets, retail strategy and provides an excellent customer experience:

· Establish and developstrong relationships with existing brands to ensure their daily operational performance achieves set targets

· Assist and provide guidelines to store managers on profitable in-store presentation, customer service and ways of improving

· Work as part of the retail team providing accurate timely management information with supporting analysis, through weekly reporting, to Retail Director and/or Deputy Retail Director

· Work with the leasing and operating teams to ensure smooth implementation of programmes and new store opening and closures

· Communicate with HR adding input to training needs analysis and suggested programmes of staff development

· Coordinate and manage Brand Mystery Shopper Programme and provide analysis and output and agreed action plans to store managers and brand head quarters

· Assist operations team ensuring excellent customer experience and compliance with rules and regulations

· Contribute fully and communicate actions from Retail and Store Manager meetings to all parties

· Work closely with Legal, Operations, Service Managers and Brands to execute Brand Compliance checks and ensure stores comply to rules and regulations

· Work within the Retail and Marketing teams building Retail Calendars, providing key relevant information to effectively support the overall business.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS:

· Proven experience in international luxury retail industry, ideally within a department store

· Clear analytical capabilities, structured approach, and an eye for detail

· Ability to work well across all levels within the business and with all customers

· A customer focused approach with an innate understanding of quality service

· Fluent in English and local Village language, any other European language beneficial
