Job Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing partners and inactive clients. The role focuses on delivering excellent service, driving sales performance, executing trade marketing initiatives, and building strong, long-term partnerships within the FMCG sector.
Duties
Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned accounts.
Monitor stock levels, order cycles, and demand forecasts to ensure optimal product availability.
Prepare and present regular business reviews, performance reports, and action plans for each account.
Proactively resolve service or supply issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure effective execution.
Identify upselling, cross-selling, and portfolio expansion opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial skills.
Solid analytical and reporting skills (Excel, CRM systems, Power BI).
Good understanding of retail operations and FMCG markets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
Professional working proficiency in English and Italian; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, or Spanish are a strong advantage.
