Job Purpose
TMHCC – Specialty Group is looking for a Broker Relationship Executive for our European market. This position offers an immense opportunity to develop strategic relationships with current and potential producers of profitable business within the whole of Europe. Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group is active in 3 lines of business – Contingency (Event Cancellation, Prize Indemnity, Film & TV…), Disability (Professional Sports PA, Classic PA, Keyman PA, Travel…) and Crisis Management (Kidnap & Ransom, Active Assailant, Product Recall…).
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned insurance brokers to handle the daily risk submissions and liaise with the underwriting teams
- Service brokers with utmost duty and care
- Proactively maintain and grow a profitable book of business within the EEA with an initial focus on Events and Professional Athletes
- Become a subject-matter expert on Specialty Group products and business as well as staying up to date on industry trends.
- Coordinate the Specialty Group marketing projects with the corporate marketing teams and suggest new ideas to showcase our experience and expertise
- Be the first point of contact to brokers for our Specialty Marketplace
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in relationship management
- Native language: French, Spanish or German
- Full professional proficiency in English (C1 level)
- Experience using Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBi, Copilot)
- Experience in handling tasks autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
- Pro-active, perceptive and commercially minded
- Resilient, resourceful and participative
- Open to travel on occasion to visit brokers
Desirable Skills And Experience
- Any interest in sports and/or entertainment is a plus
- Any additional European language is a plus
- Experience in the Insurance Industry is a plus
