What You'll Do:

The Marketing Manager – Strategic Partnerships and Events will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that amplify brand visibility, drive revenue growth, and deepen partner relationships. This role bridges brand marketing, product development, business development, and retail/channel marketing—ensuring that all partnerships deliver mutual value, measurable results, and a consistent brand experience.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and analytical thinker with strong communication skills who has a passion for brand management and understanding of racket sports, including the soft goods dimension. This role will report directly to the EMEA Senior Marketing Manager – Tennis 360.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Partnership Strategy & Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnership opportunities that align with business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Build and manage relationships with key partners (e.g., co-marketing, sponsorship, retail, technology, or media).
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new partnerships, including joint campaigns, activations, and content collaborations.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to support contract structure, performance metrics, and renewal strategies.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Lead the co-creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns with partners across digital, social, experiential, and retail channels.
  • Ensure brand alignment and storytelling consistency across all partner touchpoints.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets for partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Drive Best In Class Execution of the partnerships across functions internally & externally.
  • Analyze partnership performance and report ROI through key marketing and business KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams—brand, creative, product, PR, and digital—to activate partnership programs.
  • Coordinate with sales and retail teams to leverage partnerships for conversion and visibility at point of sale.
  • Work closely with legal and finance to manage contracts, budgets, and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field plus a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in Grassroots marketing and/or Partnerships or an equivalent combination of education and tennis and/or padel experience.

Other qualifications include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English & French; Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the tennis industry (and padel). Soft Goods experience would be positive.
  • Management of complex negotiations and activations
  • Excellent interpersonal, cross cultural and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with business partners, governing bodies, suppliers and customers
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects across multiple brands in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with SAP is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to travel (up to 30 days/year)
