Trade & Brand Activation Manager

Location:
France - We are flexible where in France this role is based

Contract:
Full-time, 212-day annual work schedule

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead brand and trade activations in a dynamic, regulated market. You will be responsible for translating strategy into execution, working closely with global teams, and driving visibility and performance across the French market. Marketing in tobacco? There's nothing to do, right? Actually, it's quite the opposite.

You don't rely on mass media or flashy campaigns; you build brand equity through trade, product experience, and smart activation. Every move count, and every initiative has a direct impact on sales.

Key Responsibilities
Brand and Category Activation

  • Co-develop and execute the annual activation strategy and sales cycle
  • Lead market-specific activation projects
  • Manage relationships with trade publications and official listings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials (POS, brochures, presentations)
  • Monitor industry trends and propose improvements to brand tactics

Budget Management

  • Monitor and manage the sales and marketing budget to meet national targets
  • Allocate resources to maximize brand impact and ROI
  • Ensure availability of effective sales and marketing tools
  • Develop and optimize sell-in/sell-out materials

Sales Force Support

  • Provide reports on activation KPIs and budget tracking
  • Contribute to national and regional sales meetings with market insights and updates
  • Deliver product training using the CAB model

Market Analysis

  • Deliver monthly performance reports and market insights
  • Identify untapped opportunities and pricing strategies aligned with global positioning

Commercial Plan Execution

  • Support the development and implementation of the commercial plan through market analysis, pricing, and activation strategy

What We're Looking For

  • A proactive, autonomous mindset with strong ownership
  • Structured thinking and solid project management skills
  • Ability to turn strategy into actionable plans
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, and BI tools (Power BI, Cognos)
  • Fluency in English
