Marugal is currently recruiting a Cluster Head of Operations. This position will be based in Paris.
About Marugal:
Marugal is specialized in the conception, launch and management of unique luxury hotels.
A successful balance between advisory and operational excellence has led Marugal to develop trusted personal relationships with the hotel owners.
With properties in Spain, France, Switzerland and United Kingdom, the portfolio of managed hotels reflects the right combination of capturing the essence of their cultural and geographical environment while offering a coherent concept.
Therefore, Marugal develops unique hotel concepts, as well as a high-quality service, while maximizing the owners' profits and return on investment with strong brands and successful products.
Main duties:
- Organise and supervise hotel operations.
- Achieve an excellent customer experience: ensure the quality and service levels established for each hotel.
- Prepare, present and account for the annual operating budget.
- Budgeting with general managers.
- Control and monitoring of the operating budget: supervision of revenue and cost control with the management of each hotel.
- Design, ensure and control the implementation and compliance of standard and specific operating procedures established in each hotel.
- Participate in hotel openings where required.
- Support, when necessary, the human resources team in the management and selection of staff.
- Provide ideas regarding communication and marketing management.
- Review the current month's rates and transmit to the revenue department any comments that may be useful.
- Attend Marugal meetings to be an active part of the team.
- Have communications with the hotel owners when necessary.
MIN REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Hotel Management or similar.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Native French is a must.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Spanish is desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized.
- Analytical mindset.
