Director of Business Development - Development Services, Southern EuropeDriving growth across Southern Europe Remote role however, requirements to ideally live in France At Meribel Pharma Solutions, you will drive growth for our CDMO services across Southern Europe. This role focuses on acquiring new customers and managing current customer relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies for our contract manufacturing and development services. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the CDMO landscape in Europe, regulatory knowledge for EU markets, and a proven track record in both manufacturing and development services sales within the pharmaceutical sector.Key Responsibilities:Identify and Develop Opportunities with Prospects and TargetsClient Relationship ManagementAchieve Sales TargetsCollaborate with Internal TeamsReporting and CRM ManagementMarket IntelligenceGeneral Skills and ExperienceComprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical development lifecycle, spanning early development through clinical phases to commercial manufacturing.Strong knowledge of formulation development and analytical services, with the ability to engage credibly with technical and scientific stakeholders.Proven experience with oral solid dose (OSD) formulations and small-molecule drug development.Experience in sterile manufacturing, including aseptic processing and lyophilization, is highly desirable.Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing services. Particular expertise in development services, formulation development and analytical services is required.Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, with an understanding of the companies and investors in the designated region.Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Proficiency in English; additional languages depending on region (e.g. German, French, Spanish) are necessary.Please apply directly above or reach out to rachel@leadcandidate.com OR zara@leadcandidate.com to find out moreDon't meet all the requirements?
