Role Overview Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Consolidation Manager is responsible for producing and ensuring the reliability of the Group’s consolidated financial statements in an IFRS environment, using Tagetik as the core consolidation tool. The role combines technical consolidation expertise with hands-on subsidiary oversight, internal control responsibilities, and a continuous improvement mindset across reporting processes.
Location:
Paris-based. 1 — Group Consolidation & Reporting
• Produce the Group’s monthly consolidated financial statements (light version each month, full version in December)
• Apply IFRS standards and ensure their consistent implementation across all reporting entities
• Process intercompany eliminations
• Monitor exceptional items and changes in scope (acquisitions, disposals) – book related journal entries
• Contribute to the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements and related disclosures
• Analyse tax positions (deferred tax, tax proof, effective tax rate)
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of the consolidation process across all reporting entities
• Act as the primary point of contact with external auditors on consolidation matters 2 — Financial Analysis
• Contribute to the preparation of Group management reporting
• Perform monthly analysis of working capital variations, gather relevant explanations from subsidiaries, and summarize key drivers
• Analyze significant cash flow items in coordination with relevant teams (Capex, Tax, etc.)
• Produce ad hoc analyses for management
• Develop and monitor key financial KPIs at Group level 3 — Subsidiary Oversight, Internal Control & Data Quality
• Support local finance teams in the preparation and submission of financial reporting packages
• Harmonize accounting methods, tools, and Group-wide referentials across subsidiaries
• Ensure the quality of reported data, with a particular focus on balance sheet and cash flow items
• Coordinate monthly Group closings and facilitate closing meetings (instructions, follow-up, validation)
• Contribute to the drafting and updating of Group accounting policies Internal Control
• Conduct subsidiary audits covering balance sheet reviews, process reviews, and assessment of the effectiveness of controls in place
• Lead the deployment and ongoing maintenance of the Group’s Internal Control Matrix across all countries, ensuring consistent documentation, ownership, and remediation tracking
• Review existing financial processes in each country against Group standards; identify gaps, weaknesses, and areas of non-compliance
• Design and implement corrective action plans in coordination with local finance teams, ensuring timely resolution of identified control deficiencies
• Strengthen financial governance by enforcing Group accounting policies and internal control standards at subsidiary level
• Monitor the maturity of internal controls across the Group’s entity perimeter and report findings to senior management on a regular basis
• Act as a key contributor to internal and external audit processes, providing relevant documentation and coordinating responses from local teams 4 — Tools & Process Improvement
• Contribute to the administration and optimize Tagetik (Group Chart of Accounts, cash flow module, appendices, new reporting lines, entity master data)
• Contribute to the deployment or improvement of related tools (e.g. Amelkis Lease for IFRS 16)
• Optimize closing procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness
• Participate in broader finance transformation projects and promote automation where applicable Candidate Profile
• Degree in finance or accounting (DSCG, master’s in accounting/finance, CPA, or equivalent business school background)
• Solid experience in IFRS consolidation, gained in an audit firm or international group – minimum 5 years
• Proven track record in internal control frameworks (design, implementation, and review of control matrices)
• Proficiency in Tagetik is required; familiarity with Amelkis Lease or Blackline is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across multiple entities under tight closing deadlines
• Operational English required; French is a plus given the Paris-based environment
• Autonomous, rigorous, and comfortable working in a fast-growing international Group with a decentralized structure
