About ClimeFi
ClimeFi is a 20-person, international team with offices in Paris, Zurich, and London, united by a shared
mission: helping the world tackle climate change. We’re building the infrastructure that enables companies to take meaningful climate action. Our procurement and portfolio management platform helps large organisations discover, purchase, manage, and track environmental certificates across carbon removals, sustainable aviation fuels, and other emerging climate solutions. We work with leading global companies, including Boston Consulting Group, the LEGO Group, Adyen, and ENGIE, helping them navigate an increasingly complex and fast-evolving climate market.
Your mission and
responsibilities:
As Product Manager at ClimeFi, you will own Product across our platform: the client-facing application our corporate buyers use, the internal tools our analysts work with, and the API our clients and partners integrate with. You will report to one of the co-founders and work day to day with our engineers, designer and QA. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. Your responsibilities include:
- Vision and Roadmap: Work with the co-founders and the wider team to translate company strategy into a clear product vision and roadmap, and keep them current as the market and the business evolve.
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research, map the competitive landscape and keep the team ahead of developments in the CDR market and in product and AI tooling.
- Discovery and
Requirements:
Engage with clients, analysts, suppliers and the commercial team to understand their needs, and translate them into well-defined problem statements and requirements.
- Prioritization and Backlog: Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing client value, business objectives and technical constraints.
- Specification: Write clear, complete specifications and break them down into well-scoped tickets that engineers and designers can act on.
- Delivery: Manage the ticket system and the sprint cycle in close collaboration with engineering, design and QA, from initial design through release.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the point of contact for product across the company. Coordinate with the commercial, analyst and marketing teams on priorities, timelines and launches, and keep founders and clients informed. How We Work ClimeFi is an AI-forward company, and this shapes how product work is done. Research, specifications and first drafts are AI-assisted, ideas are prototyped with AI tooling before engineering time is committed, and recurring work is automated wherever possible. We do not prescribe tools; we expect you to use them fluently and to hold a high standard for the quality and speed of your output. Day to day, the team works in Linear, Figma, Paper, Notion, GitHub, n8n, and Sentry, with Lovable and Claude for prototyping and drafting. What We're Looking For
- Experienced Product Manager: Around 5 years of experience in product management with a track record of owning a product end to end, including both 0-to-1 launches and iterating on existing products.
- Hands-on: Proficient across the core product management craft, including stakeholder management, discovery, prioritization, specification writing and backlog management, and comfortable producing these artifacts yourself.
- AI-Enhanced Ways of Working: You use AI tools as part of your daily work, including for research, specification and prototyping.
- Clear Communicator: Strong written communication; your specifications and decision notes are concise, testable and unambiguous.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice what others miss, in a spec, a design or a release, and you hold yourself and the team to that standard.
- Curious: A genuine interest in the carbon removal market and a natural drive to investigate unfamiliar problems until you understand them. Prior experience in the industry is not required.
- Fluent in English: English is our working language; French is a plus. Extra Points
- A strong sense for how professional B2B software should look and behave: information density, clarity, consistency and workflow efficiency for expert users. You can look at two designs, pick the better one and explain why.
- Some level of technical fluency, enough to follow engineering discussions and understand how the product is built.
- Experience in a lean, fast-moving company, working directly with engineers rather than through intermediary layers. Benefits
-
Salary:
A competitive annual salary and stock option plan commensurate with professional experience.
- Leave: 5 weeks annual leave.
- Perks: Sports benefits, transport, health, a diversified and international team in an early stage, growing company. -
Location:
Paris office in the Opéra district. In-person with some hybrid flexibility
