Director of Admissions
- Ermitage International School Paris Ermitage International School Paris is seeking to appoint an energetic, ambitious and highly service-oriented Director of Admissions to lead student recruitment. Located in Maisons-Laffitte, just 20 minutes from central Paris, Ermitage educates approximately 1,600 students from Pre-K to Grade 12 through both the French curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Home to students representing around 80 nationalities, the School combines academic excellence with a genuinely international outlook. This appointment comes at an exciting time. Ermitage International School Paris sits at the heart of a growing group of nine schools across France and Belgium and has become the largest IB school group in France. Following a period of significant growth and investment, the Group is seeking an outstanding individual to lead admissions at its flagship campus and help drive the next phase of development. Reporting to the Group Chief Recruiting Officer, the Director of Admissions will oversee recruitment across the Maisons-Laffitte campus, leading a small admissions team and managing the full admissions journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment. Whilst the role supports all areas of the School, a particular focus will be attracting international families to the thriving IB School, which continues to experience strong growth. The successful candidate will ensure an exceptional admissions experience for prospective families, develop and implement recruitment strategies, analyse admissions data and build strong relationships with school leaders, feeder schools and key partners. They will be a visible ambassador for Ermitage, combining warmth and professionalism with a relentless commitment to service excellence. Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in admissions, education, customer service, hospitality, commercial sales, business development or other relationship-focused environments. More important than a specific career background will be the ability to build trust quickly, understand the needs of international families and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail. They will bring a commercial mindset, a commitment to delivering results and the resilience and energy required to succeed in a dynamic and ambitious school environment. An understanding of, or affinity with, international education and the IB will be advantageous, alongside a genuine commitment to providing the highest standards of customer service to prospective families. Fluency in English is essential. French would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite. Further information about Ermitage International School Paris can be found at https://www.ermitage.fr/ and a candidate brief can be downloaded from www.odgers.com/96854 Covering letters and CVs should be sent by 9.00am GMT on Monday 2 November to Constance Moss at Odgers. Ermitage International School Paris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
