About Us
Blackmont Consulting is an advisory firm, not a full-service execution provider. We may get hands-on with part of a client’s process to test or improve an approach, but we don’t typically run a client’s operations end-to-end on their behalf.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, performance-driven internship, not a passive or observational one. You’ll own your own pipeline from prospecting through to signed agreements: researching potential clients, reaching out and following up, developing tailored proposals, and coordinating with your manager along the way.
What We Offer
• Strong CV value: Real, client-facing experience with actual companies, not mock exercises
• Hands-on from day one: Run real client conversations and navigate real objections
• A path to promotion: Strong performers can progress to Business Development Manager
• A real network: Direct access to fellow interns, managers, and consultants
• Direct mentorship: Ongoing feedback, plus shared learning in weekly team meetings
• A strong recommendation letter: A realistic outcome for interns who perform well Key
Requirements:
• Self-driven & resilient: You take ownership of your pipeline and don’t let rejection slow you down.
• Strong communicator: Organised, detail-oriented, and clear in your outreach
• Persistent & process-disciplined: Consistent follow-through, so nothing falls through the cracks
• Curious & collaborative: A genuine interest in the work and in learning from the team
• Independent & outreach-ready: Comfortable with cold outreach; prior sales experience is a plus, not a requirement What We’re Looking For:
• Time commitment: Around 5 hours/week
• Responsiveness: Reply to team communications within 48 hours
• Client project minimum: Close at least one client project per month (your first may reasonably take 5–7 weeks)
• Meetings & reporting: Attend onboarding and weekly team meetings, and keep your manager updated
• Professionalism: Treat this internship with the same professionalism as a paid role. Start Date: Beginning of the following month. Please Note: This is a voluntary, unpaid internship designed for students and recent graduates seeking hands-on experience while working in a global, remote organisation.
