Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Your responsibility will be for the sales of our sensor products (pressure, temperature, humidity and Gas & Moisture) into customers in the transportation, industrial and medical market segments, within the assigned territory. Accountable for delivering forecasted sales revenue and driving continuous sales growth with existing customers and targeting new customer opportunity developments in the market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and execute orders & sales plans geared towards driving market growth and penetration of existing and new accounts.
  • Develop technical and market expertise on products and applications, using this knowledge to provide pre- and post-sales support for key accounts.
  • Accurately forecast Orders and Sales
  • Prepare & conduct sales presentations
  • Hunt for and identify new opportunities in existing and new accounts.
  • Establish objectives & action plans for the territory, maintaining up-to-date customer databases.
  • Develop strong individual working relationships with customers, gaining in-depth knowledge of customer needs and applications.
  • Recommend and participate in trade shows and local industry associations.
  • Provide management with continuous market intelligence through visits reports, observations of customer needs and competitive activities.
  • Closely interface with product management, field application engineering, design engineering, global supply chain, & customer service
  • Support as customer’s advocate in providing after-sale troubleshooting for support of any issues
  • Cross-sell different product lines 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Business fluent, written and oral communication skills in the dominant language of the territory + English
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years Direct Sales experience with customers in the Transportation market.
  • Solid commercial and technical background
  • External focus with strong ability to understand customer’s business critical processes
  • Proactive and hunter type mentality. Just get it done
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, in particular sales presentation skills
  • Knowledge of customer base in the assigned region.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • Expertise in winning complex deals, proven strong deal closing capabilities
  • Able to effectively use the Office365 toolset to manage, interpret and present data effectively and clearly; a level of reasonable capability in Excel is a key element of this.
