Job Description

Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will focus on securing new and existing business from prospective and current accounts to meet sales objectives and generate profitable revenue, ensure market share growth and prime strategic positioning for future business successes. The ideal candidate will deploy a global account strategy in conjunction with Management in order to achieve goals and objectives set for the business. The BDM will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenues targets set by Management. The BDM will communicate issues and problems back into Company in order to drive and assist with resolution. The BDM will identify, qualify and close new business in line with set targets and engage appropriate resources from cross-functional teams to ensure successful business execution. Additional responsibilities will be to own and manage related RFQs and ensure timely response delivery. The BDM will regularly update the Customer Relationship Management systems with customer data, new opportunity logs and call plans.

The person in this role must possess the following:
•Ability to formulate account plans, present and implement tactical selling plans and business reviews to both prospects/customers and internal Sanmina-SCI management
•Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and relationship through research, networking and follow-through
•Creating and maintaining a high level of direct interaction with executive decision makers
•Ability to understand customer problems and drive proactive suggestions for solutions
•Financials: understanding of P&Ls and pricing models
•Ability to work with cross functional teams to drive customer solutions
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and organizational capabilities
•Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

REQUIREMENT
•BA or BS qualified, degree level or equivalent
•5+ years’ sales, commercial experience successfully exceeding targets 
•Knowledge of CM/EMS industry
•Knowledge and understanding of Global Supply Chain management in the electronic industry
•Bilingual in English required, other language appreciated
•Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
•Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations
•Strong project management skills with excellent ability to prioritize, multitask and organize
