Business Development Representative

The primary responsibility of the Business Development Representative is to proactively manage the existing leads and increase significantly the lead conversion rate to generate a significant potential of business for the region.
Another main aspect of the role if the management of small to mid sizes existing opportunities to contribute to the revenue growth.
**What you’ll do**:
- Work towards being able to identify client needs, generate interest, and show our value proposition.
- Follow up on leads generated by Marketing (MQL) and generate new leads by prospecting actions (SQL)
- Reactivate dormant accounts and qualify untouched leads and opportunities
- Carrying out product demos (95% remotely, 5% face-to-face).
- Update the customers and opportunities information on the CRM (Sales Force)
Some metrics the team are keeping track of to measure our success:
- Conversion rate from Prospect to uploaders
- Conversion rate Prospect to order
- Core team revenue
- Qualitative goals (Business potential identification, quality of follow-up, etc )
**What it takes**:
- 0-2 years of experience in customer facing role with a strong motivation to achieve sales targets
- Successful experience in generating new business (prospecting, cold calling, closing).
- A passion for engineering, specifically manufacturing
- Organizational and planning skills
- Strong written and spoken language skills in French, Spanish and English
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written and communication skills.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize.
- Accuracy is vital - must be detailed orientated.
