As a Sales Account Manager for Coatings, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering strong client relationships. This position is based in Lyon and requires a candidate with a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of coatings products, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition and Retention:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the coatings sector.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  1. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead in the coatings market.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals to potential clients.
  1. Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of coatings products and applications.
  • Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and offering expert guidance.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and product innovations.
  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share market insights and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
  1. Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the coatings or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of coatings products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
