Altorecruit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales with existing customers and targeting new prospects for our plastics distribution business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage sales in the territory to reach sales, gross profit, account number, penetration targets, and product goals.
- Service existing accounts by coordinating division's sale and delivery of products to meet customer needs.
- Identify leads for new accounts and work with Sales Management to develop sales strategy.
- Monitor competitive situations, including pricing, payment terms, shipment terms, and types of materials handled by competitors.
- Fulfill responsible care sales activities safely, including personal and vehicular safety and product stewardship.
- Develop and maintain a professional presence in the territory by expanding product knowledge and enhancing sales management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- Fluent French and English skills, with other languages valued.
- Minimum of 5 years of plastics distribution sales or related industry experience.
- Well-versed in industrial commodity chemicals and capable of calling on all types and sizes of accounts.
- Proven qualifications in self-motivation, enthusiasm, time management skills, and responsiveness.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP and/or is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate and build effective relationships.
