Business Lead France and Benelux Specialty Fertilizer

As our business lead for our Growing Solutions division, you will be responsible for leading the sales, marketing and logistic operation in France and Benelux. Managing a team of professionals with a focus on specialty fertilizers, distribution, leading remote teams, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. You will lead a team of 21, with 7 direct reports. You will report to the Head of ICL Growing Solutions Europe.

About the role 
You will develop a business plan for the new portfolio, market access, and operational model. You will focus on ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical standards. Your main challenge will be to lead a business transformation in the region.

Other responsibilities will be: 

Oversee P&L for the business unit. Conduct market research on pricing, products, competition, and trends to recommend changes. Align operations with sales policy while addressing customer needs and supply chain issues. Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Establish and propose contracts and agreements with customers and logistics operators to secure or expand the business. Develop and launch a new brand of semi-specialties for the French market, focusing on innovation and added value. Ensure efficient operation of the French supply chain. Stay informed about the agricultural sector and related fields impacting operations. Represent ICL in relevant associations in France and the Benelux region.

You are an experienced sales professional in the Fertilizers/agriculture industry in France and Benelux. You bring the right sales mindset and knowledge to bring our business to the next level. 

We are looking for you to bring the following skills: 

Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams. Flexible and creative thinking, with a “can do” spirit and mindset to win business. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization, collaborating with colleagues across functions and geographies. Strong communicator  Fluent in English and French


Location: Reims (preferably) or other locations in France.
