Candidates must have full working rights in France, we do not offer sponsorship for this role. Due to the operational requirements of the position, a regular physical presence in the Paris Region is essential.


As a Sales Travel Assistant, you will assist the Destination and Direct Sales Manager in charge of France by supervising and coordinating all aspects of group tour arrangements and follow up on tours in the system to ensure each confirmed group is invoiced and paid by the client.



Reporting To: Destination and Direct Sales Manager

Key Relationships: Work with local Kuoni Tumlare teams (Operations, Purchasing...). Communicate with travel agents and corporate clients.


Key Activities: Sales Support, Sales Reports & Administrative Tasks

Sales Travel  Support:

  • Liaise with Internal Departments: Ensure that requested services are booked and confirmed within the required deadlines when a group is materialized.

  • Manage Itineraries: Make necessary amendments to itineraries and rooming lists, handling changes and cancellations smoothly.

  • Maintain Communication: Keep in close contact with local offices and direct clients to ensure seamless operations.

  • Prepare Documentation: Ensure all necessary documents are prepared and sent to clients well before their departure.

  • Product Development: Assist the Destination and Direct Sales Manager in developing new and exciting travel products.

  • IT Proficiency: Utilize company IT systems to effectively follow up on tours.

  • Multitask Efficiently: Handle multiple files simultaneously, ensuring efficient and proactive communication with clients and destination offices.

Sales Reports & Administrative Tasks:

  • Ensure Prepayments: Make sure each confirmed group is fully prepaid on time unless credit facilities are available.

  • Enrich Client Profiles: Gather additional information from clients to enhance their profiles in the CRM database.

  • Accurate Reporting: Provide precise information to the Destination and Direct Sales Manager, keeping them informed of any payment issues or operational problems.



What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Degree in Tourism and Travel Business.

  • Languages: Fluent in English and French.

  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PDF), organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Sales Travel Assistant, with experience in Inbound Travel in Europe being a plus.

  • Personal qualities: Motivated, positive attitude, excellent communication skills, self-organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and open-minded.

  • Due to the operational requirements of the position, a regular physical presence in the Paris Region is essential.
