Job Title
Manager, Software Development for Cytric TravelCorporations IT is a key investment area for Amadeus. We provide corporations with the tools to power and shape their employees’ travel experience and expense reimbursement, and to manage their own business more effectively –from pre-trip approval, travel shopping, policy compliance and expense auditing; as well as ‘Business Intelligence’ and ‘Duty-of-Care’ solutions.
The mission of the team is to provide innovative products supporting our worldwide strategy and business model, turning customers’ business needs into awesome features and products
The technical environment is composed of several components building together our flagship product cytric. The development is mainly done in java and a typical e-commerce architecture. The product has a >20years history and the components have different levels of technical debt and maturity. Recently we added to our portfolio a cloud native solution which integrates our services in the Microsoft Office 365 environment, especially for collaboration in Teams “cytric easy”. This solution is paving the way for our overall cloud migration with the final goal to have all our applications running on Azure.
The Manager of the Software development Hub France will manage a team of dedicated and motivated full stack java developers working on the Cytric travel and Easy products. The team is involved in the development of functionalities for our customers, the maintenance of the current stack and the evolution of the platform through technical enablers. The team participates actively to the exciting projects of the department like Cytric Easy, GPT exploration and building new micro-services to serve new use cases for the Cytric travel product.
Purpose
Lead and develop your team, foster team spirit, and promote innovation.Support all team members, playing a key part in their career growth.Support the Agile Release Train by working closely with the other managers and train amigos.Lead the recruitment.Share and explain the company vision to the team.Set Goals and objectives and review with team members in accordance with the department’s strategy.Align with the other development managers in Germany, Bulgaria and India to establish common bets practicesWork closely with the Architect Team to drive development according to our StrategyCommon accountabilities
