VERTIV has a long history of pioneering data center infrastructure technologies for mission critical applications. Specialist in critical digital infrastructure with the most complete portfolio in power and cooling solutions wrapped in software platform and unmatched service offering. We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Paris, France.
The Technical Sales Engineer position is a key role within the National Sales Team, holding the position as the team lead for the flow business of the department and for a selection of our major customers.
You will form part of a team that cover all disciplines of the business, within which you will hold technical sales responsibility. Solid technical experience combined with strong commercial orientation is key to succeed in this role.
Technical Sales Engineers are an extremely important function for VERTIV, and consequently we are looking for a highly competent, energetic, and ambitious individual to take on this role within the organization.
Working experience in AC Power products and installations, electrotechnical environment, low voltage.
• Customer/Sales orientation.
• Min Bac+2 in electrical specification.
• Experience with Configure-One (C1) and Oracle Sales Cloud is a plus.
• Fluent written and verbal English required.
• Fluent IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Increase VERTIV's market share and work to meet/exceed the budget numbers in terms of Orders, Sales, GM/EBITDA in accordance with the company's ethics and guidelines.
• Responsible for sales & profitability level at a national level, and therefore responsible for pricing and bid consistency within the region.
• Consistent promotion of VERTIV's product and service portfolio, engaging with content that is relevant and profiled to the different stakeholders.
• Bid activities all along the sale cycle.
• Manage commercial negotiations with external and internal stakeholders until close of sale.
• Ensure best-in class level of data quality in the CRM system and other internal tools.
