Role Purpose and Responsibilities :

  • Working closely alongside the head of asset management and the team, on behalf of key clients, maximizing the recuring revenue of the portfolio under management according to strategic objectives specific to each fund/asset.
  • Defining and implementing asset value creation strategies for different funds and individual assets (the portfolio under management is mostly Core/Core+ to Value Add -> heavy refurbishment, VEFA…). Proposing the necessary corrections when needed.
  • Actively following the leasing of empty units with the dedicated brokers/property managers, renegotiating ongoing leases, negotiating upcoming leases (lease contracts drafting, rent level optimization by learning the market tendencies, candidates application reviewing).
  • Regularly meeting with tenants to assess their needs and proactively proposing solutions, thus ensuring building occupancy on the long term.
  • Preparation of business plans and budgets and reporting (in English) against objectives to STAM CEO and the investors.
  • Working on the periodical asset valuation campaigns with experts.
  • Gathering and knowing all the information (technical, legal, financial, market) regarding the buildings, their tenants and the surrounding properties that could generate synergies.
  • Ensuring completeness of asset data rooms, both under management and upon disposal (data room preparation with the help of notaries).
  • Be a key interface in communicating, reporting and monitoring of business plans.
  • Working in close collaboration with the entire French team including technical management, property management and finance, but also acquisitions.
  • Establishing proposed asset disposal plans based on asset performance analysis and strategies.
  • Seeking to reduce service/property costs both billable or not, in collaboration with the property manager, whilst maintaining a high level of quality for the tenants.
  • Pairing with property managers to ensure regular rent collection and quality of property management.
  • With the help of the technical & property team, establishing and implementing a multi-year appropriate investment plan on every building and a standard renovation program for vacant units, with efficient cost/result ratio. Those should aim at improving the standards in terms of environmental efficiency (GRESB, tertiary decree, bacs decree, labels, EPC or other relevant), comfort and service for the tenants, or improving the value and liquidity of the assets (including buildings under construction or renovation).
  • Coordinating all service providers : architects, project owner support, design/engineering office, experts, brokers, notaries, lawyers, facility managers
  • Providing input for sourcing and execution of new acquisitions (pre & post-closing, BP forecast) to ensure the best asset management possible afterwards.
  • Becoming a key representative of STAM Europe both internally and externally upholding company values and culture.
  • Showing strong deontology and will to enforce the CSR principles of STAM and the real estate industry.


Education : Graduate (business school, engineering or other) with strong financial and technical background


Language : Fluent in French and in English


Professional experience & competencies :

  • An experienced and rounded real estate professional with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in an investment/asset management position, on office assets and others (residential/mixed-use/retail…).
  • The position will include a broad exposure to asset management ideally across the risk spectrum from core to value add/opportunistic. As such, the candidate will have a demonstrable track record in value creation from investment to disposal.
  • Broad knowledge of commercial real estate, primarily offices in operation, but also ideally exposure to residential, retail and potentially logistics.
  • The candidate will have an excellent financial, legal (French real estate law, contract law), technical/property grounding (in daily operations and development/heavy refurbishment).
  • Cross-team project management experience is needed.
