We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader company in Oil and Gas sector, an Engineering Data Coordinator.


Position based in Nanterre


Main responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with engineers from different disciplines (within different operational centers), to set up the regular extraction of data registers from different sources (including project equipment lists, the 3D model and Smart tools Plan)
  • Coordinate with the Information Management team and with the support of the Methods and Tools team, the implementation of automation on the format of data registers
  • Ensure data validation using internal validation tools, carry out a gap analysis and return to the disciplines if necessary, as well as monitoring
  • Once the registers are mature enough, import them into the database where all the tags and technical data of the project are consolidated.
  • Coordinate with the Methods and Tools team, in charge of configuring AVEVA Engineering, to develop and implement data import formats and different views.
  • Participate in tests, suggest improvements and ensure the correct loading and visualization of data in Aveva Engineering
  • Participate in the production of reporting on the progress and quality of the various registers.


The SERVICE PROVIDER will be integrated into the Information Management team led by the Information Management Lead. He may be required to receive instructions as part of the team coordination carried out by the Lead,



Main Requirements:


  • An engineer who knows how EPC projects work (knowing how to read P&IDs is a plus) with a strong interest in data, comfortable with databases and handling large volumes of data
  • ideally who has already worked on a similar scope / has experience in data management
  • Rigorous, responsive, with good interpersonal skills and communication skills, and a good sense of analysis
  • Able to work independently, with good team spirit
  • English speaking (good level of written and oral English)
  • Good knowledge of Excel with notions of databases is desired.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and AVEVA Engineering is a plus.
