Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a SFE/BFE Supplier Manager (f/m) to join STC* Solutions Programme / Customer Services (siglum SRS) , in Airbus based in Toulouse, France.

STC Solutions Programme is an integrated team, human sized and colocalized, with Engineering, Airworthiness, Project Management, Quality, Procurement, Logistics..., which values the One Team, One Goal.

We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB*, ICA* and kits) certified through Airbus STC, to airlines and lessors for the modification of their in-service aircrafts, through our dedicated: Team, Processes, Suppliers and Means (dedicated Kit Factory) .

Integrated in the STC Solutions Programme Project Manager team, our SFE/BFE Manager is in charge of coordinating the follow-up of SFE/BFE suppliers during the equipment development phase. He/she will report to the Project Management Team leader.

The position is extremely varied, by managing operational, organizational, technical or financial topics, sometimes unprecedented with an important communication component. It is a position with a certain and recognized added value, in interaction with numerous actors (Sales, Procurement, Management, Finance, Customer, Suppliers, Design Office, and so on) .

Your challenges:

Integrated to Multi-Functional Teams addressing Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrades projects on various programs (SA, LR, DD, WB, XWB) , the Job Holder is responsible for following missions:

  • Define with Engineering and supplier, follow-up and challenge the detailed planning and the list of deliverables for each milestone (milestone chart) in accordance with the Project targets.
  • Support progress meetings with Engineering and the supplier (ITCM, PDR, CDR, PRM, ...)
  • Ensure that the items requested by suppliers are provided by SRS according to schedule
  • Ensure availability of deliverables from suppliers at the expected date and at expected quality.
  • Coordinate and ensure the validation of supplier deliverables with the support of SRS experts (design office, justification, certification, ...)
  • Ensure the coordination between the supplier and SRS for the design items linked to production of the monuments and their installation in the aircraft.
  • Manage SCR (Specification Change Request) / EDES process between SRS and supplier. Ensure the « pulling / filtering / blocking » process.
  • Arbitrate between the stakeholders in case of conflict and identify action plans to be put in place.
  • Schedule and organize the FAI (First Article Inspection) . Coordinate the incoming inspection.
  • Coordinate with the supplier the closure of FAI items and organize a source inspection if needed.
  • Coordinate issuance and validation by CVE of the concession (if any)
  • Coordinate the supplier product delivery date. Internal coordination between DO/PM/Supply Chain/Procurement
  • Support the SR2M/uBRM
  • Support and follow the AIL per Cabin/System equipment (or group of) and ensure that the stakeholders perform the actions to close the open items.
  • Organize and lead a weekly meeting to follow-up progress, actions and to define action plans.
  • Ensure economic consolidation.
  • Support procurement for contractual discussions with suppliers.
  • Report on a weekly basis on the progress of equipment during the project review.
  • Alert the project leading team in case of deviation to initial schedule and propose solutions to reduce impact
  • Share the supplier performance on the project with SCQM
  • Perform a REX analysis all along & at the end of the project

Vos challenges:

Intégré(e) à des équipes multifonctionnelles traitant des projets de modernisation des cabines et des systèmes de cabine sur différents programmes (SA, LR, DD, WB, XWB) , le/la titulaire du poste est responsable des missions suivantes :

Définir avec l'ingénierie et le fournisseur, suivre et challenger le planning détaillé et la liste des livrables pour chaque jalon (milestone chart) en accord avec les objectifs du projet.

  • Soutenir les réunions d'avancement avec l'ingénierie et le fournisseur (ITCM, PDR, CDR, PRM, ...) .
  • S'assurer que les éléments demandés par les fournisseurs sont fournis par SRS selon le calendrier prévu
  • Assurer la disponibilité des produits livrables par les fournisseurs à la date et à la qualité prévues.
  • Coordonner et assurer la validation des livrables des fournisseurs avec le soutien des experts du SRS (bureau d'études, justification, certification, ...) .
  • Assurer la coordination entre le fournisseur et le SRS pour les éléments de conception liés à la production des monuments et à leur installation dans l'avion.
  • Gérer le processus SCR (Specification Change Request) / EDES entre le SRS et le fournisseur. Assurer le processus " pulling / filtering / blocking ".
  • Arbitrer entre les parties prenantes en cas de conflit et identifier les plans d'action à mettre en place.
  • Programmer et organiser le FAI (First Article Inspection) . Coordonner l'inspection à la réception.
  • Coordonner avec le fournisseur la fermeture des articles FAI et organiser une inspection à la source si nécessaire.
  • Coordonner la délivrance et la validation par le CVE de la concession (le cas échéant) .
  • Coordonner la date de livraison des produits du fournisseur.
  • Coordination interne entre DO/PM/Supply Chain/Procurement
  • Soutenir le SR2M/uBRM
  • Soutenir et suivre l'AIL par équipement de cabine/système (ou groupe d'équipements) et veiller à ce que les parties prenantes prennent les mesures nécessaires pour clôturer les points en suspens.
  • Organiser et diriger une réunion hebdomadaire pour suivre les progrès, les actions et définir des plans d'action.
  • Assurer la consolidation économique.
  • Soutenir les achats dans le cadre des discussions contractuelles avec les fournisseurs.
  • Rendre compte chaque semaine de l'état d'avancement des équipements lors de la revue de projet.
  • Alerter l'équipe de direction du projet en cas d'écart par rapport au calendrier initial et proposer des solutions pour en réduire l'impact.
  • Partager les performances des fournisseurs sur le projet avec SCQM.
  • Effectuer une analyse REX tout au long et à la fin du projet.
