Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Business Development Director to lead our clients business expansion efforts across key global markets, including Paris, Dubai, Italy, KSA, and other international regions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving business growth within the events industry, coupled with an ability to navigate complex, multi-regional markets. This role will be pivotal in shaping the agency’s global footprint and fostering high-value client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth across multiple international markets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and growth areas in emerging and established markets globally.
  • Client Acquisition: Lead high-level negotiations with prospective clients and close deals with corporate entities, government bodies, and international organizations.
  • Partnership Development: Build strategic alliances with key partners, including suppliers, venues, and other stakeholders, to enhance service offerings in different regions.
  • Global Network Building: Leverage existing networks and develop new connections with industry influencers, clients, and partners across regions.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a global business development team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional market dynamics.
  • Revenue & Profitability: Drive profitability through innovative sales strategies and business models tailored to each market’s specific conditions.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and events teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered at a high standard.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Provide regular insights and reports to the executive team on business development progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and revenue targets.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
  • Global Expertise: Proven experience in managing business operations and client acquisition across multiple international markets, particularly in Europe and the Middle East.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-regional teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Networking: A strong global network within the events industry, particularly in regions such as Paris, Dubai, Italy, and KSA.
  • Multilingual Ability: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French, Italian, or Arabic is a plus.
  • Travel Readiness: Ability to travel extensively across multiple regions.
