About the Role:

Join TUMI’s dynamic Merchandise Planning Department, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal inventory levels across our European retail network (Full Price & Outlet), E-commerce, and Wholesale channels. Our mission is to have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time, and in the right place.

The role of the Store allocator and Planning analyst is to maintain the right level of inventory in store and to be reactive on the retail fast change.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Allocate inventory to 45 Full Price and Outlet stores based on assortment, store capacity, and monthly targets.
  • Regularly adjust inventory levels based on store requests, special promotions, and commercial operations.
  • Manage end-of-season product flows, including transfers from Full Price to Outlet stores or returns to the warehouse.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for store managers regarding inventory matters.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Create and update department reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate weekly sell-through reports on seasonal products for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels, providing adjustment recommendations.
  • Produce weekly stock in stores reports for Full Price and Outlet stores, adjusting based on sales trends, store capacity, and monthly targets.
  • Compile out-of-stock reports to inform the retail and merchandising teams of shortages and facilitate assortment adjustments.

Promotions and Ad Hoc Support:

  • Integrate promotions into the dedicated tool linked to in-store tills for both Full Price and Outlet stores.
  • Assist the team with ad hoc analyses, contract follow-ups, and SAP order cleaning.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Luxury Business, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years minimum of proven experience in planning, stock management, or merchandising within the luxury, premium, and/or retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent team spirit with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • High product sensitivity, business-oriented, and curious.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus.
