Acteur industriel en pleine croissance internationale, nous exportons près de 75% de notre production dans plus de 30 pays. Afin de répondre aux besoins des clients, nous avons ouvert des filiales à Singapour, aux Etats-Unis ainsi que des bureaux en Chine. HTL Biotechnology a un ancrage historique à Javené (Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne) où sont situées nos activités industrielles et R&D.

**Description du poste**
The BD Manager will be responsible for developing the presence of HTL Biotechnology mainly in Europe in supporting the current business growth across accounts and initiating new business opportunities among prospects.

**Business Development responsibilities**:

- Develop a growth strategy focused on customer satisfaction
- Develop target identification and mapping to increase client base
- Acquiring thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Promote the HTL biopolymer platform

**Account Management**:

- Arrange business meetings with existing accounts or prospective clients and keep record of the meeting minutes
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients
- Define negotiation tactics and prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Draft and negotiate contracts
- Develop trustful relationships with the portfolio of existing clients
- Generate new business that will turn into long-lasting revenues
- Serve as a communication channel between key customers and internal teams (supply chain, R&D, marketing)
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers
- Report on successes and areas needing improvements
- Help identify Key Opinion Leaders
- Capture trends in key existing markets
- Support marketing initiatives in coordination with Marketing and Strategy
- Attend conferences and industry events to increase market understanding

**Contribution to Market intelligence and Marketing**:

- Report customer and competition trends locally and internationally

**Profil recherché**
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline. A double cursus (engineer/scientist + Business) is a strong plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience the areas of B2B Sales, Business development, or product management.
- Knowledge of Aesthetics, Ophthalmology or Rheumatology is a plus.
- Experience with biopolymers for Medical Device / Drug
- Experience with new product development
- Experience with API
- Strong appetite for innovation and ability to handle technical discussions
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- High-level communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to negotiate
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- Conflict resolution
- The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
- Experience working to and exceeding targets
- Team player to fit in / coordinate within marketing & sales teams, and R&D
- Fluent English is a must.

The position is located in Europe, ideally in Paris or Brittany, with regular trips within Europe (20% time).
