The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and driving new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and collaborations within the pharmaceutical industry. This individual will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence, enhancing pipeline growth, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manages the current and future partnerships with human and veterinary companies: monitors contract obligations and payments, coordinate requests with R&D support, negotiates new contracts and amendments.
- Prospects new fields of interests, identifies new potential partners, supports the development of customized proposals/term sheets, negotiates new license agreements, with close interactions with BD, R&D, Legal, Finance, IP and other functional areas as required. Organizes, tracks, documents and reports on the status of all business development activities: current partnerships and ongoing prospection and negotiations.
- Generate revenues in line with the agreed corporate annual budget.
- Support all business development communication: participates in the execution of a comprehensive business development strategy, including presentations, communications, and industry trade shows and conferences.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, research institutions, nonprofits, agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Support the negotiation and finalization of partnerships, licensing agreements, and other collaborative ventures.
- Oversee the development and execution of business development projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities and outcomes.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of business development initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Ability to analyze complex data, market dynamics, and financial reports.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

**Required Skills**:

- Fluent in English
- Strong expertise and background in biotechnology with experience in the vaccine field a plus
