Private equity investors have more than $6.5 trillion under management, which is being invested in the most innovative sectors and companies in the world. However, the majority of these investors still rely on tools such as Excel spreadsheets to manage their portfolios. Edda has been developed to provide the market with fit for purpose technology bringing efficiency, transparency and safety to the industry, from the earliest days of deal selecting through to portfolio management and exits.

Most tools in the market are built for big private equity companies and often use legacy technology. At Edda, we see that these tools need to adapt to a rapidly changing market. When you have different teams using different softwares working in conjunction, time is wasted through inefficiencies as the various technologies aren't compatible. This means there is an increased risk of losing data, there is a delay for retrieving information, communication becomes complicated and you lose sight of the bigger picture.

Edda removes inefficiencies within companies by allowing everyone to work on the same platform together. Edda is the first tool to unite all the aspects of investment, including dealflow, portfolio, LPs and network management into one product and automatically offers users up-to-date news and data, solving the problems that investors face daily.

Come be part of Edda's six-month Sales and Business Development Internship in our lively Paris office. This role is not just about observation, but a chance to actively engage in and influence our strategic sales approaches. You will play a direct role in identifying potential markets and VC funds, devising impactful outreach strategies, and enhancing our sales pipeline with innovative solutions.

Tasks

**What You Will Do**:
**Prospecting and Client Engagement**:

- Work alongside the sales team to pinpoint ideal VC funds and market segments.
- Identify decision-makers within target organizations and devise effective engagement strategies.

**CRM and Data Management**:

- Record client interactions meticulously in our CRM system.
- Maintain an extensive client database with a focus on data accuracy.

**Outbound Strategy and Campaign Execution**:

- Work with the sales team to create and execute active outbound plans.
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to efficiently connect with and involve potential customers.

**Market Analysis**:

- Perform extensive market research to forecast industry trends.
- Evaluate customer data to identify trends, establish audience groups, and enhance marketing strategies.

**Requirements**:
**You may be a fit for this role if you have**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong in research, analytical, and data management.
- An excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, German, or Arabic is advantageous.
- Familiar with basic sales and marketing principles and CRM systems.

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Previous internship experience in business development, lead generation, or sales, ideally within SaaS, startups, or B2B companies.
- An understanding of the VC/PE industry.
- Experience with market research tools and platforms.

**Supervision and Mentorship**:
