Business Development Manager

Proclinical are recruiting a Business Development Manager for a pharmaceutical establishment. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Lyon. The client is focused on facilitate and grow he prediction of human exposure, clinical efficiency, and toxicological results of a drug or chemical.
**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the main or ideal supplier for all findings and development services.
- Engage with operations and marketing to close new business and evolve long-term relations.
- Develop current business revenue and form new business relations within the region.
- Execute corporate sales and marketing plans.
- You will secure and retain business through professional, consultative, active sales actions directed at decision makers and influencers at new clients.
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Educated to a degree level in an ADME or toxicology connected field or work experience within a CRO lab setting, though experience could also be within a pharmaceutical, Biotech or Academia organisation as well.
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in technical, operations, or alliance management as well as sales experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotech organisation.
- Comprehension of the drug discovery and development area with the ability to learn business development.
- Comprehension of the drug discovery and development pathway.
- Technical familiarity with the ability to develop professional sales abilities.
- Able to think critically and creatively.
- Capable of assess client requirements and craft proposals.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Possess analytical capabilities.
- Able to recognise leads, examine the value of business/product prospects and close deals.
- Business insight and able to reply proactively to business challenges.
- A self-motivated individual who is driven to accomplish objectives.
- Capable of making good decisions and resolve issues.
- Facilitated a network of contacts within the drug discovery organisation or able to develop these efficiently.
- Capable of guiding the business development process, organise multinational teams and assist in deal deliberations to reach final agreements.
- A persuasive individual who is efficient and effective in deliberations.
- Keen to learn and open to change.
