Nielsen Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) plays a pivotal role in helping clients ensure every dollar they spend works for them. We do this by providing a mix of data-driven models, software solutions and consultancy to ensure the client gets the results they need. We answer their key business questions to improve marketing performance - questions like: What ROI does my marketing generate? How can I improve the return on my marketing? How should I optimise my marketing investment? How should I allocate my budgets?
We work with a diverse range of stakeholders from CMO to Insights, from global media teams to analytics, and from brand to performance.
**The Regional Sales Director is a senior sales hunter and individual contributor, who will focus on creating and closing opportunities with net new logos across all verticals and across publishers and platforms.**
**A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU**
As a Regional Sales Director, you will be the key player to drive success across France and Belgium. You are a senior sales professional with a very strong understanding of marketing ROI and Marketing Mix Modeling, significant enterprise solution sales experience and a deep understanding of the media landscape.
You will be responsible for generating new business relationships and developing existing business within a designated territory. It requires an ability to understand and articulate the value of Nielsen’s MMM solutions to customers and partners up to the C-level.
You should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota and experience with value or solution-based selling.
The focus of this role is on selling Nielsen MMM solutions to new clients and increasing penetration of our solutions with existing clients. This will be across all verticals and all Nielsen MMM products.
Our target market clients can include Marketing Directors, Media Managers, Brand Managers as well as Insight/Measurement teams. Our client base ranges from large publishing houses (Google, Facebook, Tiktok, Amazon) to the best-known FMCG manufacturers and all other verticals.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Building and updating a territory plan to meet sales targets
- Exceeding quarterly/annual sales targets by prospecting and closing new business as well as cultivating existing client relationships to sign deals with new brands
- Complex sales-cycle management; manage the entire sales process by engaging the appropriate resources such as Solutions Consultants, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, etc
- Ensuring delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, whilst also finding white space in existing accounts.
- Partnering closely with the Customer Success and Operations teams to manage revenue and ensure delivery matches the sales promise
- Partnering closely with the Nielsen Media organisation in your territory to ensure we leverage the full scale of Nielsen
- Engaging and developing relationships with C-level executives across the spectrum of advertisers and publishers/platforms
- Generating short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.
- Accurate quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.
- Adoption of our Challenger sales approach
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Significant relevant sales experience in media measurement and/or enterprise SaaS technology and marketing ROI solutions
- An indepth understanding of the marketing effectiveness measurement space
- Fluent English and French are a must.
- Strong successful sales track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota greater than $1M
- History of closing 6-figure deals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills
- Strong understanding of solution/consultative selling
- Self-starter who can develop sales leads as well as build strong rapports with partners
- A passion for sales and a passion for delighting clients
