Malt serves over 850,000 freelancers and 90,000 clients across Europe. About the Role This role focuses on salary bands, benefits, pay plans, and compensation reviews. The Compensation & Benefits Manager reports to the Performance & Compensation & Benefits Director. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain the company’s salary banding and grading structure to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Lead the annual compensation review cycle, including salary increases, bonuses, and equity grants. Manage the full range of employee benefits programs, ensuring local regulatory compliance. Develop and document clear compensation policies and guidelines, ensuring transparency. Conduct in-depth analyses of compensation data, trends, and forecasts; create dashboards for leadership. Qualifications 3–6 years of direct C&B partnership experience in at least two international organizations. Proven track record designing and recommending new compensation structures or benefits programs. Experience presenting complex data to senior leadership and influencing business decisions. Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software, including data cleansing and executive dashboards. Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and market pricing. Deep knowledge of compensation principles, salary banding/grading, pay plans, and benefit program design. Exceptional organizational skills to execute large‑scale, sensitive projects. Interview Process Initial call with a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. Interview with the People Transformation Director to discuss experience and vision.
