ResponsibilitiesDevelop sales plan for process and specialty application products such as dairy, pharma, F&B, chemical, automobile, etc.Identify and engage new customers to generate enquiries for process applications; understand customer needs and applications to recommend suitable products and solutions.Participate in the development of the sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, and customer satisfaction for the country/region.Obtain company/product accreditation and PQ submissions to consultants and clients.Forecast customer/market trends and pipeline for forward planning; monitor competitors’ activities in the market.Develop and maintain positive long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and dealers through visits and provide consultation and support on M+H membrane solution products.Provide design support to other sales team members for process applications to stay competitive.Manage day-to-day sales operational activities for customers.Oversee sales support activities including administration, customer service, invoicing, and credit/collections.Conduct competition analysis and develop pricing strategies on a project basis.Handle customer complaints and product returns.Conduct seminars, exhibitions, product trainings/workshops for distributors/dealers, OEMs, consultants and end users.Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager, other sales team members, Product Managers and Technical Team on pilots and development of new products for regional requirements and applications; provide design support.Travel and attend client meetings to support other Sales Engineers/Managers as needed, without being limited to any sector, area, or region.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or Dairy Engineering / Food Technology or equivalent; MBA/PGDBM in marketing & sales desirable.Experience: Minimum 8 to 17 years in a similar position in international process technology, focusing on dairy, food & beverages, chemical, pharma & textile; prior experience as a Sales Manager and/or Product Marketing is preferred.Knowledge: Water and wastewater membrane sales is desirable.Travel: Extensive travel across India required.Language: English fluent; local languages and Hindi desirable.Sales process knowledge within process and specialty membrane markets; process design and proposal preparation for dairy, dye desalting, UF/NF process applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
